Today I have a real treat for you, which comes in the form of a 6.5-week-old newborn baby named Calvin. Hold on to your socks – this fellow is so cute he may blow them right off! I mean, look at that face!!!

The best sibling shot every! I just love his cute l’il grumpy face, while his big sister Mackenzie is beautifully smiling away. I’m so honored to photograph siblings, especially when I have photographed the older one as a baby as well. Go check out her newborn photos from 4 years ago, do they share a resemblance? The pandemic really threw us off with the timeline of photographing Calvin soon after birth, but you know what? I love photographing older babies; they have so much character, beautiful skin, and funny facial expressions. Yes, yes they are more challenging to photograph, it takes longer for me to get them to sleep, but wouldn’t you give anything for a newborn baby photo like those above?

This style of backlit image which I have won multiple awards with, is one of my most sought-after poses at newborn sessions. Of course, we had to do it for the Konners too, and it turned out more amazing than I thought it would be. I just love it in Black and White!
